Current information: Toll for vans over 3.5 t – special regulation for motorhomes
From 1 July 2024, vans weighing 3.5 t or more will be subject to a toll.
However, motorhomes with fixed furniture are exempt, provided they are only used to transport passengers.
There may be problems with lorries with box bodies that have been converted into motorhomes. In this case, voluntary registration with registration certificate part I, photos of the interior and information on use is possible. This is initially valid for two years and can be extended.
Calculate the exact power requirement of your washing machine, freezer or flow heater. Even the power needed in standby mode can be detected effortlessly. Please note that in Germany, only calibrated meters may be used for billing purposes – e.g. for electricity billing in rented flats, on campsites or in garden clubs.
