+ Powerful additional charger for charging at 230 V
+ Booster function for a full charge while driving
+ Solar system for recharging without electricity
Optional inverter: 230 V on board
For a higher solar yield even in unfavourable weather conditions.
The PowerPacks can be installed parallel to an existing basic electronic system in any touring vehicle. The BCB combination unit ensures that an additional charging current (20 A, 30 A, 40 A) is available at 230 V. During the journey, the BCB works in booster mode. It switches on when required, requests charging current (25 A, 30 A, 40 A), regulates to the required charging voltage (adjustable according to battery type) and charges the RV battery/batteries fully with an optimal characteristics curve. It also guarantees a constant charging current for "Euro 5" and "Euro 6" vehicles equipped with an alternator regulation. The MT 5000 iQ battery computer controls and monitors the system. At the push of a button, for example, the remaining capacity or the remaining running time is displayed. The solar system also integrates perfectly into the system. The PowerPacks are equipped with 110 Wp or 170 Wp 72-cell MT Black-Line modules. Specially developed for touring vehicles and optimally matched to the complete set, they guarantee optimal charging performance even in unfavourable weather conditions.
The PowerPack Classic I, as described, is supplemented by a solar set MT 110 MC. Optimum charging in the classic travel season between spring and autumn for small to medium-sized travel vehicles. See also Solar Info.
The PowerPack Classic II provides more solar power. The solar set MT 220-2 MC is equipped with two solar modules of 110 Wp each to supply larger motorhomes or vehicles with more consumers on board self-sufficiently.
