Current information: Toll for vans over 3.5 t – special regulation for motorhomes
From 1 July 2024, vans weighing 3.5 t or more will be subject to a toll.
However, motorhomes with fixed furniture are exempt, provided they are only used to transport passengers.
There may be problems with lorries with box bodies that have been converted into motorhomes. In this case, voluntary registration with registration certificate part I, photos of the interior and information on use is possible. This is initially valid for two years and can be extended.
The anti-theft device AL-KO Safety Compact, made of high-strength steel, effectively protects the stabiliser couplings AK 160/300/350/270 ø 50 against theft. Specially designed for these models, the device can be installed effortlessly and without complicated assembly.
The AL-KO Safety Compact can be used both when coupled and uncoupled, which makes travelling easier – the lock does not have to be removed and refitted at every stop. When uncoupled, the anti-theft protection is optionally supplemented by the AL-KO Safety Ball, which can be inserted into the ball coupling.
