Current information: Toll for vans over 3.5 t – special regulation for motorhomes
From 1 July 2024, vans weighing 3.5 t or more will be subject to a toll.
However, motorhomes with fixed furniture are exempt, provided they are only used to transport passengers.
There may be problems with lorries with box bodies that have been converted into motorhomes. In this case, voluntary registration with registration certificate part I, photos of the interior and information on use is possible. This is initially valid for two years and can be extended.
The AL-KO ATC blocking diode ensures trouble-free use of the ATC Trailer Control in caravans with an independent 12 V power supply (e.g. battery). In the case of a battery, a blocking circuit (blocking diode) must be installed between the distributor of the caravan and the ATC.
