Awning Tents
You can count on us:
Awning + walls = living space galore!
You already have an awning on your caravan, motorhome or campervan? Wonderful! With the help of our complete sets, you can easily transform it into a comfortable awning. You can choose from different variants:
Chic side protection – side walls
Our classic side walls, which you can quickly and easily attach to your awning, offer great wind or sun protection. Depending on the manufacturer, you can adapt the size and material exactly to your awning and your motorhome. And if you combine the side walls with the matching front walls, you will have a complete awning in front of your door in no time at all.
Full protection from the front – front walls
Whether it is made of light- and air-permeable mesh fabric or waterproof PVC – there is the right front wall for every need. Different lengths help you build a compact front. And combined with a matching side wall, you can transform everything into a sturdy protective tent in a flash.
All-round protection – complete sets
Complete sets provide all-round protection. Especially if you are often on holiday in windy and rainy areas, they keep your feet dry since they can be set up and taken down quickly. You have two options:
- Do you prefer the flexibility of our sets with separate side and front walls?
Then, you can also hook in just the side walls for more privacy and protection – or when wind is blowing from the east. - Would you rather have an “all-in-one” solution that is manufactured in one piece?
This gives you even better protection at the corners and connecting edges, especially in wet conditions. Thanks to the lightweight materials and many great features – such as large window areas or extra shade canopies – such an awning tent can easily compete with traditional awnings. And it is quick and easy to set up.
Tip
If you like to go on holiday near bodies of water or in the warm south, look for integrated fly screens when choosing your front or side walls.
This allows you to let fresh air into the awning tent in the evening without having to worry about annoying insects.
The material
Especially awning tents manufactured in one piece – but also side and front walls – are made of lightweight, modern and mostly waterproof fabrics. Ripstop polyester, for example, which is used by Thule, is a lightweight, water- and tearproof fabric that was originally produced for aeronautical engineering. Just in case you want to camp on the moon ;)
Quickly set up
An awning tent is easy to set up and attach: Slide the front walls into the front rail of the awning. Then attach the side walls to the awning fabric with a clamping profile. Connect the front and side walls with a zip or a double piping profile. Then you’re done and can enjoy your new living space!
Large & sturdy
Depending on the size, the front and side walls are additionally fastened to the ground with a tensioning pole and guy ropes. If necessary, you can insert diagonal supports between the clamping and pole profiles. These accessories are usually included in your tent package. You will find all details regarding assembly with the individual awning and protective tents.
Stowage and transport
Depending on the model, the awning tent and the assembly material are delivered in convenient and compact bags. This means you can stow your mobile walls in a space-saving way in your campervan, caravan, motorhome or minivan when your journey continues.
Good to know:
Thanks to the sturdy design, these awnings can also withstand a small storm or medium rain showers. In the event of strong storms or severe weather warnings, however, you should take down the awning together with the walls for safety’s sake and stow it inside your camper.
Tip
If you want even more space for cosy camping hours, you should take a look at our panorama awning tent with sloping fronts. It offers an even larger living area thanks to the front wall, which is offset forward by 50 cm and which you can use for spending time with the whole family.
Fancy a mobile awning?
You think it’s a great idea, but you don’t have an awning on your motorhome yet? Never mind, just take a look at our awnings. Here, you will find exactly the right model for your camper. And you can order the matching tents at the same time. For a great holiday!

Technical terms simply explained
- What is a tensioning pole?
Do you want to attach a side wall to your awning? Then you need a so-called tensioning pole, also known as a rafter. You simply clamp this pole under your awning and hang in the side wall. Depending on the awning model, however, assembly parts included in the scope of delivery must be screwed into the housing. - What are clamping and pole profiles?
While front walls are usually pulled into the piping profile of the front wall, you need a clamping profile for side walls, which rests horizontally in the awning housing and on the front support leg. The side walls are pulled into the clamping profile via a piping. The awning fabric is clamped into the profile. Everything is then sealed against the vehicle wall by a so-called pole profile, which is pressed against the vehicle wall with a pressure bar. This closes the air gaps and you can relax in your comfortable awning.
