With integrated Bluetooth
With its built-in Bluetooth, the BMV Smart is ready for the age of the "Internet of Things" (IoT). Most other Victron Energy products also have Bluetooth. Wireless communication between products simplifies the installation of systems and improves performance.

- update to the latest software when new features are available.
Simple installation
All electrical connections are made using the PCB connector on the current shunt. The shunt is connected to the monitor via a standard RJ12 telephone cable. Included in the scope of delivery: RJ12 cable (10 m) and battery cable with fuse (2 m). No other components are required. A separate front panel for a square or round display, a safety ring for rear mounting and screws for front mounting are also supplied.
Monitoring the centre point voltage
A damaged cell or a damaged battery can destroy an entire large, expensive battery bank. If batteries are connected in series, a timely warning message can be generated by measuring the centre point voltage. Please also refer to the BMV manual, section 5.2 for further information. We recommend the battery balancer (BBA000100100) to maximise the service life of lead-acid batteries connected in series.
Very low current consumption from the battery
Current consumption: 0.7 Ah per month (1 mA) at 12 V and 0.6 Ah per month (0.8 mA) at 24 V. Lithium-ion batteries in particular have almost no capacity left when they are discharged until they are switched off due to low voltage. After low voltage cut-off, the reserve capacity of a lithium-ion battery is approximately 1 Ah per 1000 Ah of battery capacity. The battery will be damaged if the remaining reserve capacity is removed from the battery. A residual current of 10 mA, for example, can damage a 200 Ah battery if the system is left in a discharged state for more than 8 days.
Bistable alarm relay
Prevents increased current drain in the event of an alarm.
