Our Premium BBQ salt blocks are suitable for all customary charcoal, gas and electric grills as well as for ovens. You should ideally use the salt blocks with food that needs to be cooked gently, such as fish, seafood, vegetables and poultry. The lid should always be closed while the salt blocks are being used.
The salt blocks should be heated up slowly at direct or indirect medium heat. As soon as the salt block has reached the desired temperature, put the previously lightly oiled food on the block. The food should not be salted, as the block itself ensures a slight salty taste.
You can also use the block to serve the food. Let the salt block cool down and remove all food residues with a dishmop or a sponge under running water to clean it. Please do not use detergent. Dry the salt block thoroughly and seal it hermetically. The salt block is intended for repeated use, but will get smaller with time. Enjoy your BBQ!
