Current information: Toll for vans over 3.5 t – special regulation for motorhomes
From 1 July 2024, vans weighing 3.5 t or more will be subject to a toll.
However, motorhomes with fixed furniture are exempt, provided they are only used to transport passengers.
There may be problems with lorries with box bodies that have been converted into motorhomes. In this case, voluntary registration with registration certificate part I, photos of the interior and information on use is possible. This is initially valid for two years and can be extended.
The Booster WA 1208 increases the available charging voltage to max. 14.4 V while driving, resulting in the best possible charging of the caravan battery. The booster separates the caravan battery from the starter battery of the towing vehicle when the engine and ignition are switched off.
