PFC or PFAS stands for per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances. PFCs have water-, oil- and dirt-repellent properties and are often used for outer fabrics. Many PFCs are persistent, i.e. they do not decompose on their own, but have to be burnt at extremely high temperatures, for example. Via waterways, air and food, the traces then spread all over the world.
The connectable awning "TC-Zip-Protect Canvas" by Bent is modular, functional, variable and easy to use. Made of a robust polyester-cotton blend fabric (TC 65/35) 210 g/m², the awning is characterised by its very high UV resistance and is particularly suitable for sunny regions and long-term use. The TC fabric has a hydrostatic head of 450 mm. The swelling cotton threads in the fabric ensure that the canvas awning is waterproof.
The triangular "TC Zip-Protect Canvas" is a supplementary product with zip flaps on each side. This makes it possible to seal the zip connections of the roof to make it almost entirely waterproof in case of rain. Thanks to the isosceles triangular construction and the reinforced corners, you can tension the awning optimally. With convenient TC bag with quick-release fastener, shoulder straps and a small pack size for easy transport.
The canvas awning is Ideal as a vehicle canopy or for camping, caravanning, at the beach, in the garden, at festivals or when relaxing. Bent is consciously committed to ecological sustainability and avoids the use of environmentally harmful perfluorocarbons (PFC) in water-repellent coatings.
