No water, no chemicals, but 100% comfort: Arwinger cassette composting toilet
With the Arwinger cassette composting toilet kit, you can convert your Thetford chemical toilet from the C200 series into a composting toilet. Benefit from all the advantages of a composting toilet without having to forego the comfort and design of your built-in cassette toilet, especially the convenient and practical removal through the service hatch.
To retrofit your Thetford C200, you first need to replace the bowl along with the seat and lid of your chemical toilet with those from the newer model Thetford C220. This is included in the Arwinger cassette composting toilet kit.
The top part of the Thetford C220 bowl is then replaced with the seat part from the Arwinger cassette composting toilet kit. You can carry the conversion out by yourself using the included instructions without any specialist knowledge. The seat part ensures the separation of solids and liquids.
Both are collected by the Arwinger cassette composting toilet kit cassette, which is positioned in the service compartment and replaces the Thetford chemical cassette one-to-one. The solids fall into the open container of the cassette, which is fitted with a bag, while the liquid is directed through the hose into the tank of the cassette. Both cassette parts can be separated for emptying. The container for solids has a volume of approximately 9 litres, while the liquid container has a volume of approximately 7.7 litres. The fill level of the liquid tank can be read using an optical level indicator.
After converting the bowl, the seat and lid of the chemical toilet are attached to the new seat part, and your Thetford toilet looks as good as before.
