Current information: Toll for vans over 3.5 t – special regulation for motorhomes
From 1 July 2024, vans weighing 3.5 t or more will be subject to a toll.
However, motorhomes with fixed furniture are exempt, provided they are only used to transport passengers.
There may be problems with lorries with box bodies that have been converted into motorhomes. In this case, voluntary registration with registration certificate part I, photos of the interior and information on use is possible. This is initially valid for two years and can be extended.
The combustion air duct CAP is an external duct and is designed to channel fresh air from outside the vehicle into the combined heater. This supply of fresh air is crucial for effectively supplying the combustion process with the necessary oxygen. The fresh air is channelled directly from the exhaust side of the heater into the flue. An outstanding feature of this system is its complete independence from the vehicle's internal air system. This means that no air from the interior of the vehicle is used for the combustion process.
