Current information: Toll for vans over 3.5 t – special regulation for motorhomes
From 1 July 2024, vans weighing 3.5 t or more will be subject to a toll.
However, motorhomes with fixed furniture are exempt, provided they are only used to transport passengers.
There may be problems with lorries with box bodies that have been converted into motorhomes. In this case, voluntary registration with registration certificate part I, photos of the interior and information on use is possible. This is initially valid for two years and can be extended.
Compressor cooler fitting in concealed hollow spaces in caravans, boats or trucks, e.g. in galleys, under seat benches – in every unused space. Even exterior storage space can be used for cooling purposes. If needed, the cooling aggregate can be detached (up to 1.5 m supply cable).
