Many Euro 5 and almost all Euro 6 vehicles are equipped with an intelligent alternator. In these vehicles, the function of 12 V isolating relays and D+ simulators is either limited or no longer possible. To ensure that the RV battery/batteries is/are charged, a charge booster or BCB must be installed.
The D+ active simulator is the ideal solution for modern vehicles in which it is difficult or impossible to tap the D+ signal directly from the alternator. In vehicles with an intelligent alternator, e.g. Euro 6 vehicles, this simulator is indispensable for recognising the engine running and controlling auxiliary devices.
The D+ active simulator is simply attached to the engine with cable ties and activated by vibration. When the engine stops, the signal switches off automatically and the delay can be set individually. The function is monitored by an LED display. This ensures reliable signal transmission and optimum functioning of your auxiliary devices.
