Many Euro 5 and almost all Euro 6 vehicles are equipped with an intelligent alternator. In these vehicles, the function of 12 V isolating relays and D+ simulators is either limited or no longer possible. To ensure that the RV battery/batteries is/are charged, a charge booster or BCB must be installed.
The D+ signal simulator is the ideal solution for modern vehicles in which it is difficult or impossible to tap a D+ signal directly from the alternator. However, this essential D+ switching signal is required to recognise the engine running and activate various additional devices.
The D+ simulator is the right solution for engines without an intelligent alternator: it recognises the rising voltage of the starter battery and switches the signal through. This ensures that your auxiliary devices always function correctly.
