Current information: Toll for vans over 3.5 t – special regulation for motorhomes
From 1 July 2024, vans weighing 3.5 t or more will be subject to a toll.
However, motorhomes with fixed furniture are exempt, provided they are only used to transport passengers.
There may be problems with lorries with box bodies that have been converted into motorhomes. In this case, voluntary registration with registration certificate part I, photos of the interior and information on use is possible. This is initially valid for two years and can be extended.
Specifically for installation on the outer wall of the vehicle designed ventilation systems. They help to prevent an energy wasting heat accumulation behind the refrigerator, and in addition allow easy access for service and maintenance, like the cleaning of the burner, without dismounting the fridge. The lower ventilation grille leads cold air behind the refrigerator while the upper grille allows warm air to escape.
