With the E-Trailer app and the specially developed sensors for retrofitting to any recreational vehicle, owners of caravans and motorhomes can always keep an eye on the condition of their holiday homes with their smartphone.
The E-Trailer solution consists of three elements: a central base station, the sensor modules for the respective tasks and the E-Trailer app on the smartphone. Only the base station needs to be connected to the 12 V power circuit of the caravan or motorhome. All other modules communicate wirelessly with the E-Connect base station.
To use the E-Track&Trace function and future sensor modules with internet-based remote access, an internet subscription is required, which can be taken out directly in the E-Trailer app at a price of 99.95 euros per year.
With the E-Gaslevel module, a magnetic sensor is attached to the bottom of the gas cylinder from the outside. For aluminium or plastic cylinders, an additional adapter is needed to attach the sensor (optionally available). The sensor uses ultrasound to measure the fill level of the gas cylinder and sends the information to your smartphone via the base station. Using the E-Trailer app, you can adjust the sensor for steel, aluminium or plastic cylinders. The module is ready for use on a new gas cylinder after it has been replaced. You can define a threshold value at which the E-Trailer app sends a notification before the gas is used up.
