The punched impressions in the filter pads are not a production defect, they are the standard condition. The separation of the oil contained in the gas takes place in the filter cartridge, which is not replaced. From there, the separated oil drips onto the bottom of the Truma gas filter, where it is absorbed by the pad lying there. The punch markers have no influence on the absorption of the oil.
