Current information: Toll for vans over 3.5 t – special regulation for motorhomes
From 1 July 2024, vans weighing 3.5 t or more will be subject to a toll.
However, motorhomes with fixed furniture are exempt, provided they are only used to transport passengers.
There may be problems with lorries with box bodies that have been converted into motorhomes. In this case, voluntary registration with registration certificate part I, photos of the interior and information on use is possible. This is initially valid for two years and can be extended.
For the awnings F80s and F65L, the Privacy Room is available in the standard size of 300 cm. Moreover, additional extensions of 20, 40, 70, 100, 125 and 150 cm are available to adapt the Privacy Room to awning lengths of 320 cm to 450 cm.
