Please refer to the standard procedure for returning used batteries: According to the German Batteries Act, which governs the return and disposal of used batteries,
- accumulators and batteries must never be disposed of in normal residual waste.
- batteries containing harmful substances must be returned to a distributor or to collection points set up for this purpose by the public waste management authorities.
More and more motorhome owners are opting for a conversion and are using lithium batteries. The RKB Basic lithium battery LiFePO4 was developed with the aim of replacing lead-acid batteries and fully meeting the high demands placed on storage batteries today. These batteries have a high performance and are light and durable, which makes them perfect for use in motorhomes. They are ideal if you want to be self-sufficient when travelling with your motorhome – independent of any power outlets.
The batteries have lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) cells, which are considered to be very safe and cycle-resistant. In addition, the batteries are protected against overcurrent, overcharge, deep discharge, short circuits and overtemperature by an integrated BMS.
- Full capacity (100%) usable
- Very low self-discharge, < 3% per month
- Safe thanks to built-in battery management system
- Easy installation
- Maintenance-free
