The shown connection solution for caravans and motorhomes is the classic way to connect a gas cylinder to the supply line of the vehicle. The low-pressure regulator is mounted directly on the cylinder. The medium-pressure hose line provides the connection to the supply line of the vehicle.
For connection to cylinders or for gas containers permanently attached to the vehicle, for pressure regulation of the nominal pressure of the gas device. Pressure class: PS 16 bar.
Consists of: low pressure regulator, safety outlet valve PRV, toggle valve and plug-in coupling SKU with shut-off valve for emergency supply.
Advantages and equipment: the vent plug prevents moisture (e.g. rain water) from entering the regulator.
Certification: EC type tested according DGR
Technical data: material: different interior parts: stainless steel, housing: chrome-plated; nominal flow: 1.0 kg/h;
Notification for the application for low-pressure regulators in caravans
According to DVGW G607 „LNG facilities in inhabited recreational vehicles and for accommodation purposes in other road vehicles – operation and testing“, pressure regulators must be replaced after a maximum of 10 years after the date of manufacture.
If the operating pressure of the system is 30 mbar, the "old" regulator must be replaced with a DIN EN 12864 regulator. Liquid gas systems in vehicles with an operating pressure of 50 mbar are subject to preservation of the status quo.
You are not obligated to convert to 30 mbar.
