Bonnets and car roofs are a popular "runway" for martens, but also for cats and other small animals. Harmless tracks are the best things that are left behind, but it is not uncommon for the animals to leave droppings and ugly scratches. To prevent them from chewing on cables and hoses, conventional marten repellents emit ultrasound in or under the engine compartment. The M7500, however, transmits the ultrasound as a vibration directly onto the sheet metal of the bonnet, thus turning it into a loudspeaker. The ultrasound reaches the engine compartment from above and the outside. The M7500 emits this clear signal, which humans cannot hear in the ultrasonic range used, via the car's sheet metal to martens, cats and the like. Please note: The ultrasound is effective up to 3 m outwards and can possibly be perceived by pets.
