Current information: Toll for vans over 3.5 t – special regulation for motorhomes
From 1 July 2024, vans weighing 3.5 t or more will be subject to a toll.
However, motorhomes with fixed furniture are exempt, provided they are only used to transport passengers.
There may be problems with lorries with box bodies that have been converted into motorhomes. In this case, voluntary registration with registration certificate part I, photos of the interior and information on use is possible. This is initially valid for two years and can be extended.
The LiFePO₄ batteries of the LT series are equipped with an integrated battery heater that is powered exclusively by an external power source (charger, generator, etc.). This makes it possible to charge the LiFePO₄ battery even at sub-zero temperatures. When the battery temperature is below 0 °C, the battery heater is activated upon connecting an external power source, warming the battery cells to 5 °C to protect them from damage. The heater is then turned off and the battery is charged normally.
