Current information: Toll for vans over 3.5 t – special regulation for motorhomes
From 1 July 2024, vans weighing 3.5 t or more will be subject to a toll.
However, motorhomes with fixed furniture are exempt, provided they are only used to transport passengers.
There may be problems with lorries with box bodies that have been converted into motorhomes. In this case, voluntary registration with registration certificate part I, photos of the interior and information on use is possible. This is initially valid for two years and can be extended.
For awnings, tent poles and storm straps of all kinds. Awning or tent poles are fixed securely between the plates and cannot sink or raise in soft grounds. The height-adjustable hook of the screw system fixes the plate, even when the peg cannot be screwed in properly. The retracting of awnings is possible as often as required just by opening the slider.
