Current information: Toll for vans over 3.5 t – special regulation for motorhomes
From 1 July 2024, vans weighing 3.5 t or more will be subject to a toll.
However, motorhomes with fixed furniture are exempt, provided they are only used to transport passengers.
There may be problems with lorries with box bodies that have been converted into motorhomes. In this case, voluntary registration with registration certificate part I, photos of the interior and information on use is possible. This is initially valid for two years and can be extended.
The Safety-Ball supplements the AL-KO anti-theft devices on the trailer coupling during standby operation. The ball made of hard plastic is inserted into the ball coupling in the decoupled state and prevents the insertion of a ball head and thus an unauthorised coupling.
