Slider seals of toilet cassettes become porous over time and should therefore be replaced regularly. To do this, simply remove the slider cover plate and pull the covers of the guide rails upwards. Then remove the screws and the cover plate to gain access to the slider seal. Remove the old slider seal, clean the area, insert the new slider seal with the thin flange side down and screw the cover plate back in place. Finally, spray the seal with a little Vaseline spray.
To slightly delay wear, simply clean the slider seal occasionally with a damp cloth.
