MPP solar controller for high-quality motorhomes, caravans and boats. VOTRONIC solar controllers of the "MPP" (Maximum Power Point) series with IU1oU2 charging characteristic are connected as a link between the solar panel(s) and battery/batteries. With MPP technology, the controller automatically determines the maximum power output (MPP) of the solar panels several times per second. It then transforms the excess voltage of the solar panel into a higher charging current for the battery (realised by high-frequency switching regulator technology with high efficiency). This additional charging current ensures shorter charging times and the best possible power utilisation of the solar system. The MPP solar controllers work fully automatically and are maintenance-free.
