Current information: Toll for vans over 3.5 t – special regulation for motorhomes
From 1 July 2024, vans weighing 3.5 t or more will be subject to a toll.
However, motorhomes with fixed furniture are exempt, provided they are only used to transport passengers.
There may be problems with lorries with box bodies that have been converted into motorhomes. In this case, voluntary registration with registration certificate part I, photos of the interior and information on use is possible. This is initially valid for two years and can be extended.
Conventional storm straps that lie above the tent can abrade the roof fabric. Sewn-on storm straps can take an unnecessary toll on the seam and fabric area. The storm kit secures the awning at the pole spike of the corner brackets, one of the most stable points of an awning. Heavy fabric belts and sturdy tent poles provide tension. An inserted steel spiral spring compensates rip and pulling forces that are caused by gusts of wind.
