Current information: Toll for vans over 3.5 t – special regulation for motorhomes
From 1 July 2024, vans weighing 3.5 t or more will be subject to a toll.
However, motorhomes with fixed furniture are exempt, provided they are only used to transport passengers.
There may be problems with lorries with box bodies that have been converted into motorhomes. In this case, voluntary registration with registration certificate part I, photos of the interior and information on use is possible. This is initially valid for two years and can be extended.
Tensioning is provided by a strong tension spring that regulates the tension of the strap while an iron ground spike ensures the necessary hold. On storm roofs without an overhang, the eyelet of the strap is placed on the spike of the tent poles.
