Yachticon Pura Tank cleans drinking water systems without chlorine, using oxygen activation, and is neutral in odour and taste. It is easy to use and, with the correct dosage, suitable for all water tanks, pipes, pumps, and fittings.
Yachticon recommends cleaning drinking water tanks twice a year with Pura Tank and regularly conserving the water with Aqua Clean.
Application:
- The empty tank should be freed from sediment and other impurities as much as possible before use.
- Depending on the tank content, add PURA TANK to the empty tank (50 ml per 16 l).
- Then fill the tank with fresh water, turn on the taps until the water flows out, and ensure all pipes, hoses, pumps and dispensing points are filled with the solution.
- Avoid air pockets.
- Let the solution sit for at least about 24 hours – longer if desired.
- Afterwards, empty the tank and rinse thoroughly with fresh water one to two times.
Tip: regularly use Yachticon AQUA CLEAN to conserve the water in the tank. For strong limescale and similar deposits, it is recommended to use CLEAN A TANK.
