Current information: Toll for vans over 3.5 t – special regulation for motorhomes
From 1 July 2024, vans weighing 3.5 t or more will be subject to a toll.
However, motorhomes with fixed furniture are exempt, provided they are only used to transport passengers.
There may be problems with lorries with box bodies that have been converted into motorhomes. In this case, voluntary registration with registration certificate part I, photos of the interior and information on use is possible. This is initially valid for two years and can be extended.
Together with Kathrein, alphatronics developed the innovative "One-Cable-Solution" concept. With the K version, the fully automatic Kathrein satellite systems HDP 750 GPS and HDP 650 GPS (see pages 790 and 791) can be controlled directly via the TV set without an additional control unit. Another highlight is the possibility to stream TV programmes to a smartphone or tablet. These models are not equipped with Basic Smart function!
