In cooperation with Vodafone Automotive, Caratec offers an advanced locating and monitoring system. Locate & Alarm provides information when the alarm system is triggered and protects the vehicle via the Europe-wide service network, which can be a great help, especially in the event of theft in a foreign-language country. Alarm centres (SOCs) connected to the network, which work together with local police authorities in 44 countries, ensure effective recovery. The vehicle position is precisely located and the data is passed on to the alarm network. Current location data can be read out via the associated app. The geofence function monitors the vehicle in its winter quarters, for example.
