Sensitive items can be protected with cushions, blankets or similar insulating material.
We recommend securing your holiday equipment separately if necessary. Especially in case you have to brake heavily. Lashing straps or safety nets, for example, are suitable for this.

When it comes to roof boxes, you should keep the maximum roof load of your vehicle in mind. You can usually find this value in your vehicle description and can easily calculate the roof load by adding the weight of the roof rack and the roof box. If you then subtract the result from the maximum roof load, you will know exactly how much luggage you can pack on the roof of your car.
