The wheel clamp is specially designed for caravans and other trailers and is suitable for 13- to 17-inch wheels with standard steel or alloy rims. The striking warning colour is intended to alert potential thieves that there is nothing to be gained here. However, even more crucial is the unique multi-layer construction made from a particularly durable material mix. An additional level of security is provided by a lock cylinder with drill protection.
Despite the complex design, handling the AL-KO PROSAFE wheel clamp is more than simple: During the initial installation, a special wheel bolt is installed in one of the rim's screw holes and the distance is set with the supplied adjustment bolt. For subsequent uses, it is sufficient to slide the locking rod through the rim, place the wheel clamp on and lock the cylinder lock with the corresponding key. This can be done with just a few simple actions.
The product developers also took the protection of the rims into consideration: The AL-KO PROSAFE comes with appropriate scratch and contact protection. After use, it can simply be stored back in the convenient storage case made of recycled plastic.
