The Megasat Connected WiFi booster system combines an elegant outdoor unit with a compact WiFi router inside the vehicle. It maximises the performance of the WiFi signal available on the campsite and ensures interference-free Internet reception in the vehicle. A connection to the mobile phone network can be established via telephone tethering (hotspot) through the USB port (Type-C) of the router. Installation is simple – the system can either be used as a mobile unit or permanently installed. The outdoor unit is just connected to the indoor unit with a network cable, allowing it to bridge cable distances of up to 60 metres. The system can automatically restart and restore itself using the existing software and hardware watchdog function for hard- and software.
