Current information: Toll for vans over 3.5 t – special regulation for motorhomes
From 1 July 2024, vans weighing 3.5 t or more will be subject to a toll.
However, motorhomes with fixed furniture are exempt, provided they are only used to transport passengers.
There may be problems with lorries with box bodies that have been converted into motorhomes. In this case, voluntary registration with registration certificate part I, photos of the interior and information on use is possible. This is initially valid for two years and can be extended.
The RDX double piping profile DUO-KEDER turns 1 piping strip into 2 and thus enables the simultaneous use of 2 different awning accessories.
The double keder profile is made of lightweight (0.5 kg / m), high-strength aluminum in top quality in Germany. It is supplied in the practical stowable length of 1 m, however, it can be extended as required or shortened to fit your needs with normal DIY tools if necessary. Several DUO keders are simply pushed into the keder strip of the awning one after the other without tools; it is not necessary to connect several DUO keders.
Of course, it is also possible to insert an RDX DUO-KEDER double keder profile into another one, so that 1 keder strip can be turned into 3.
The storm bracing still takes place in the keder strip of the awning itself.
